oppen 77 was founded in Gothenburg in 1977.

The helmet became a success and is now a recognized aid, sold worldwide. Today, the same high-quality protective helmet is manufactured by Ingela and Peter Berndtsson. Each helmet is meticulously hand-sewn and tailored to fit. The original helmet, featuring a blue exterior with a red lining, remains our top seller. Today, we also offer a range of delightful colors to suit every individual’s taste and personality All helmets come standard with a safety buckle, though customization options are available upon request.

Today, production is based in Hålanda, approximately 50 kilometers from Gothenburg. From there, hundreds of helmets are shipped worldwide every month!
